Crawford’s Beach Lodge, set along the magical Wild Coast, offers rustic luxury accommodation for the most discerning of travellers and conference organisers, who are looking for privacy, peace and tranquillity. Our location is malaria free. Crawford's is approximately 42km from East London, far enough from the maddening crowd, but close enough for emergencies.
Crawford’s is nestled in the middle of the beautiful Chintsa Bay on the Wild Coast, surrounded by rolling hills, lush tropical beach forests and overlooks the warm Indian Ocean. A romantic getaway to explore the many beautiful treasures the wild coast has to offer.
Accommodation:
Our Lodge offers 20 luxury suites which consist of double and twin bedrooms all en-suite and each with its own private balcony, overlooking the sea. The suites are fully equipped with bar fridge, DSTV, coffee and tea making facilities, with air conditioning or fans and fully equipped kitchenettes.
Furthermore, we have a number of self-catering thatched cottages secluded in and amongst the forest dunes, each with their own private deck, where one can unwind with family and friends while the sun goes down and a fire burns in the background.
Bar and Restaurant:
Get acquainted with your fellow guests by interacting in our lounge, having a drink in the bar or merely floating around the lawn under the tropical Khamanga palms.
The Crawford’s pride themselves with the cuisine they have on offer; delicious and nutritious homemade meals. All meals are served in the main dining room overlooking the sea and are set on a buffet basis, offering fine dining with a wide variety.
Wedding and Conference Facilities:
In our establishment we offer facilities to benefit couples in love with the capacity to accommodate wedding parties of up to 100 persons.
Ceremonies can be held indoors or on the beach followed by a picturesque reception in our dining room overlooking the bay.
Our spacious conference rooms can facilitate 65 persons in an air-conditioned environment. “Breakaway” rooms are also available if required.
